Australian Apprenticeship Leadership Medal

The Australian Apprenticeship Leadership Medal, conferred annually by MiGroup Australia’s Board of Directors during National Apprenticeship Week, honours organisations that are setting the industry standard for advancing and investing in Australian Apprenticeships.

This prestigious and coveted Medal is designed to recognise organisations that not only employ apprentices but have crafted a learning and development experience around the apprenticeship model.

These employers provide safe and supportive opportunities for apprentices to refine their critical thinking, apply contemporary technical skills, and broaden their worldview through unique experiences.

The Medal recognises excellence in organisational commitment to apprenticeship and traineeship development and highlights employers who:

  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership in supporting and advancing their apprentice and trainee workforce

  • Invest in quality training, mentoring, and career development pathways

  • Champion safe, compliant, and inclusive workplaces that foster learning and success
